PulseTrak ("we", "our", or "us") operates pulsetrak.io (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

By using PulseTrak, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and account credentials managed securely via Clerk.

Platform Data: With your explicit consent, we access data from connected social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) including follower counts, view counts, engagement metrics, and post performance data. We use this data solely to provide analytics within PulseTrak.

Commerce Data: For brand users who connect Shopify stores, we access order data to attribute sales to creator campaigns via PulseBridge. We access read-only order information.

Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or sensitive payment data on our servers.

Usage Data: We collect information on how you interact with our Service, including pages visited, features used, and time spent.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain our Service
• Generate AI-powered analytics insights personalised to your account
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Send transactional emails (receipts, trial reminders, sale alerts)
• Attribute sales to creator campaigns via PulseBridge
• Improve and develop new features
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

YouTube: We access your YouTube channel data (subscribers, views, video performance) via the YouTube Data API v3. This data is used solely to display analytics within your PulseTrak dashboard. We comply with the YouTube API Services Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.

Instagram & Facebook: We access Instagram and Facebook data via the Meta Graph API with your explicit authorisation. Data accessed includes follower counts, post reach, and engagement metrics. We comply with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

TikTok: We access TikTok data via the TikTok API with your explicit authorisation. We comply with TikTok's Terms of Service and Developer Policies.

You can revoke access to any connected platform at any time from your Settings page.

We share your data only in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: Supabase (database), Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI insights). All providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
• Business Partners: When you connect with brands or agencies on PulseTrak, limited profile data is shared as part of the collaboration feature you explicitly enable.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your data if required by law or to protect our rights.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at privacy@pulsetrak.io. Analytics snapshots are retained for 12 months by default.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and secure authentication via Clerk. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for data processing
• Data portability

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can control cookie settings through your browser.

PulseTrak is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via a notice on our Service. Continued use of PulseTrak after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
